Let's Play: Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye (Blind) - Episode 14: Starlit Cove Part 2
9How many parts will it take for me to find the code embedded in the Starlit Cove!? Who knows!! Honestly, it seems as if the hardest part is figuring out how to turn the lights off. Shit. How do we do that again? We need to think back...but maybe if we just retrace our steps and be as thorough as we can we can figure it out.
Proud of myself. However...more needs to be done. And a better question arises...WHERE THE HECK IS MY CODE!?
The only problem is...what the hell happens to the footsteps I have been hearing all over the place when the lights go out... Not a good feeling. It's a sinking feeling and I feel it so heavy in my chest. Better go quick and not get caught like before!
We land in a new area/planet called The Stranger. There is a mysterious group of entities that seemed to be interested in the Eye much like the Nomians were. Wait...there are other creatures in this universe that are neither Nomian nor Hearthian?! Why am I scared? This race doesn't seem as enthused with the Eye as the Nomians...justified? What is this business about artifacts!? We know we have to deal with the dam and the repercussions of that, but there has to be something to the nifty little device we picked up. We'll figure it out just like the dam...I hope! I may have been FREAKED out after the second episode, but I calmed down a bit, collected myself, and explored without as much sheepishness! We definitely need to head to that secret area in the right river between all those peaks. We do this before the dam even breaks and find LOTS and LOTS to explore. I find a solution to a new type of puzzle presented to us which was totally by accident but makes TOTAL sense now. However, we find another place to enter in a code...a code we don't have. To think we could so easily just slip into the breach in the Stranger without much issue and find ALL OF THAT!? That is wild. But now...we're stuck. Not to worry, I thought of one solution! Are we dreaming? I think so. Dozing off with the artifact lands us in a very spooky, dark place. We also happen upon a rather odd mechanic involving red scary lights and bell-ringing...and waking up. We also happen upon some interesting visions at the vault. Hmm. Our continued courage pays off and we go and check out the vault and the symbol room! Whoa. What a sight! So much green. Let's zoom off and check out the broken down church to learn more! We have a rough idea about what needs to be done to access the vault and unlock each of those locks!! Cool!! Onto the secret areas and a new fire to sleep. Out goes the candles and up goes our heart rate. We go and try to maneuver our way through a very dark, very scary shrouded woodlands but are unsuccessful.

Hey hey! I am back! Welcome! We're going to try to harness the momentum we generated through the end of Outer Wilds and head to the Echoes of the Eye DLC. The only clue we have to start on the Echoes of the Eye DLC is a radio tower and (apparently) a satellite. Gabbro is kind of involved too (but not really). LFG! We have plenty of time now to figure out everything...or do we...maybe we should just figure out where we're going first!
