Let's Play: Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye (Blind) - Episode 5: High and Low
0We give a little more and get a little more in this episode! Here, we give our best effort and we're awarded with a couple more links to explore. I am DEFINITELY headed back to the second place we found between all those peaks. Honestly, it is super tempting to just rush there, but I think we need to be smart and bring our artifact each time to try to figure out the puzzling aspect of how to actually activate it.
We land in a new area/planet called The Stranger. There is a mysterious group of entities that seemed to be interested in the Eye much like the Nomians were. Wait...there are other creatures in this universe that are neither Nomian nor Hearthian?! Oh shit. We might have an issue here. Wait, why is everything so wide open, vast, and yet so empty?! Wait...why am I scared? This race doesn't seem as enthused with the Eye as the Nomians...justified? I wonder!! More to find as I explore the Echoes of the Eye DLC!! What is this business about artifacts!? We know we have to deal with the dam and the repercussions of that, but there has to be something to the nifty little device we picked up. We'll figure it out just like the dam...I hope! So you're telling me I gotta go all Mario 64 on they butts!? Hell yeah. But, actually, wait...that's kind of scary. I may have been FREAKED out after the second episode, but I calmed down a bit, collected myself, and explored without as much sheepishness this episode! I am actually SUPER excited to get through more, there seems to be tons and tons to unearth still if there are still mechanics I am not privy to in the first couple of hours! How exciting!

Hey hey! I am back! Welcome! We're going to try to harness the momentum we generated through the end of Outer Wilds and head to the Echoes of the Eye DLC. The only clue we have to start on the Echoes of the Eye DLC is a radio tower and (apparently) a satellite. Gabbro is kind of involved too (but not really). LFG! We have plenty of time now to figure out everything...or do we...maybe we should just figure out where we're going first!
