All seemed peaceful in the Pac Village, but then those four troublesome ghosts had to come along and summon an ancient evil. Now I got to go out and get the golden fruity McGuffins before we're all plunged into darkness.

Kind of nice to revisit things from one's childhood once again despite all the differences and changes that may occur.

So yes, this is the remastered version of "Pac Man World 2" and much like any other remaster of a popular series, it will follow the same story as its predecessors on the original consoles they originated on (in World 2's case, the PlayStation 2) with a couple exceptions here and there.

In this first episode, I start off the game and do a whole lot of collectathoning as well as begin my search for the mystical golden fruits.

Be warned, you will hear a whole lot of comparisons between this version and the original PlayStation 2 version quite a bit, so prepare for a whole lot of nostalgia bias.
