0The first part of my Lets Play of Paperman - Adventure Delivered.
A colourful, fun but often frustrating mix of platform, puzzles and combat. The camera can be infuriating sometimes and quick or unexpected deaths are common.
You have to switch between four different characters to solve the puzzles and explore certain areas, they are all unique and have different abilities.
The graphics are colourful and cartoony, the game reminds me a lot of old classics like Banjo Kazooie but without the charm and humour, the post masters sound like cousin it from the addams family which did make me laugh.
Combat is fairly standard and consists of lock-on and hit the enemy, I haven't gotten to a boss fight yet but the levels seem huge, after an hour I am on the third part of the first island.
With the game aimed clearly at s younger audience, it may be too difficult for some, especially with the frequent deaths, annoying camera and some fiddly jumping sections, which will likely put many off, even adults to be fair may find the jumping and certain sections really frustrating, while I did have some fun with the game it is unlikely I will return to it.
