perfect tides is a throwback point-n-click game by artist meredith gran that focuses on the isolated life of a young teen during the turn of the millennium. we follow mara whitefang, a child of the internet and social outcast, through 4 seasons of her life living with her mother and older brother on the island of perfect tides, a quiet tourist destination and mara's hometown.

this game is overflowing with both reverence for the genre it's recreating and honest depictions of growing up as an american teen online in the early 2000s. if you have nostalgic feelings for either of these things, perfect tides will almost certainly appeal to you.
