Let's Play Pharaoh (1999) - Master of Monuments - Episode 93
Pharaoh (1999) is one of the great city-builders made by Impressions Studios, the second to use the model of Caesar III. As the name implies, it is set to ancient Egypt. It includes new features such as the Nile floodplain, a variety of monuments (including many, many pyramids) - and the roadblock, giving you some control of your walkers and city layouts.
This game feeds my inner megalomaniac to no end, but building the greater monuments is also a tremendous task, and this can lead to some maps dragging on for a bit. Be warned, I like taking it slow in city-builders like this.
I'm also using a widescreen patch to play the game on more modern resolutions, and this does cause a little graphic wonkiness on some of the submenus.
