Most tower defense games tend to be pretty similar to one another in terms of its gameplay, but PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate manages to take a somewhat stagnating but much beloved genre and infuse it with some new life!

The new format they've introduced can feel tedious at times, but personally, I find that all that extra work does make the game a lot more challenging and hence, entertaining.
