Let's Play Pokemon Stadium - Prime Cup: Poke Ball (Part: 1/2)
326Hey guys and welcome, finally, after months of waiting, for the Pokemon Stadium playthrough! This battle simulator game pak made use of the Nintendo 64 Transfer Pak so you could use your Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow teams to fight other trainers and their Pokemon. Because I had a Pokemon Blue LP last year, I figured it was a good idea to make use of this feature so we could see our Blue team in action on the Nintendo 64!
So here is the deal.....first, I will be covering the Prime Cup and the Gym Leader Castle with my Pokemon Blue LP team. After I have finished both of those.....I'm not sure what my next move will be. I want to make my own unique teams for every Stadium cup (that won't be covered in this initial run-through), but that kind of commitment takes time...time that I'm not sure I will have, so this project may be on hiatus for a bit...multiple times. Remember, I'd need a team of 6 at Levels 50-55, a team of 6 at 25-30, and a team of 6 at 15-20, and while some of those won't be too hard...I'd like to make sure my Pokes had a decent move pool as well, and some TMs are only one-time use, so that's at least 3 (partial) playthroughs on my own time, and I have other projects I would love to spend time on...not to mention a lot of other events I plan to take part in, and getting my girlfriend over to the US and getting an apartment for us, so.....yeah, it's going to be difficult to cover the entire game, and this isn't even accounting for Round 2 yet. X_X For now though, this is the plan I am putting in place, so I'll just focus on Prime Cup and Gym Leader Castle. If I finish and have another team ready, I'll do that cup, but if I don't, I'll move onto another project for awhile. Sound good? I hope so. :P
Anyway, here is the first part of Prime Cup - Poke Ball! Things are actually kind of easy...almost pathetically easy...but I'm sure things will pick up in the future tournaments!
