We start off where we left off at the end of our previous episode with trying to defeat Elizabeth Greene, the biggest boss in the game.
Our strategy is to use devastators on her to weaken her and then go in with the blade (as offense) and armor (for defense against the Hunters).
Her Attacks
She has a few attacks that I try my best to avoid. There's this thing where she throws a few orbs of green gunk at us. She also can throw a barrage of rocks our way and she probably likes to use this one the most. These are her mid to far range attacks. She also has a close attack where she just swings one of her tentacles at us. And also a shockwave earthquake attack which she uses at close range.
Stunning Her
I try my best to get close to her first (usually on a nearby building), wait until she uses one of both of her far attacks, and then jump down on her and use a devastator or two. But an important thing to be mindful is where your life is in comparison to hers. You want to try to have as much life as possible before you're able to stun her and start slashing at her. This way, you're minimizing your chances of her Hunters running up on you and taking you out while you're trying to deliver blows to Greene. If they do attack you, try your best to just ignore them and if they hit you away from her, run back up on her again and continue slashing... again... don't retaliate against whichever Hunter attacked you.
Getting Your Life Back
After she has gotten back up or your health has too low, RUN. Preferably down a street (specifically one that's not directly in Greene's view so that you can avoid her far range attacks) and then get to the top of a building. Hunters will most likely follow you there.
Taking Out Hunters
Try to separate them and take them out one by one or two by two. Consume them to get your health up quicker but watch out for the other Hunters and their combos while you're consuming. A lot of times I'll come out of consuming a Hunter only to be pieced up by a nearby Hunter's blow combo. If you have the Dirtnap attack and you're facing two Hunters, you can possibly slam one and then if you're fast enough, defeat and consume the other before the first one gets up. If you have the attack and you're only facing one, you can use the Slam, Slash, Separate strategy to immobilize it, deal some damage, and then create some distance for when it tries to get you. Repeat as needed. Also, watch out for helicopters. Specifically if you're fighting a Hunter and you're getting ready to weaken it enough to consume. If the helicopter delivers the final blow, the Hunter will die and just leave orbs behind and make it impossible to consume.
Defeating Hunters (Slam, Slash, Separate) - Strategy for taking out the Hunters. Dirtnap slam it, slash it, then create some distance when it tries to hit you. Once it's been weakened, consume it.
Chipping Away At Her Life - An example of the way I weaken her with a devastator and then flee to a building when my life gets low. Once up there, I wait for my life to start going up a bit and also, I wait for a Hunter so that I can consume it.
Getting Her Life Low But Not Stunned - You want to get her life down to this level first. Then create some distance and get your life up as much as possible. Once that's done, return to her, use a devastator and then you should have enough life to deliver some slashes to her without worrying to much about Hunters killing you.
Hack and Slash Once She's Stunned - Once her life is low run up on her ass with your blade and armor out and use a devastator. If she hits you, once or even twice, you should still be fine. Once she's been stunned, just keep slashing at her and ignoring anything else... including the Hunter that delivers a pretty mean combo.
