Story: Flannery has defeated Liza of Charicific Valley, and after her defeat, Liza is restored into human, and is grateful to Flannery for saving her from the curse that was corrupting her into being into Stygian placed by an evil wizardly crimelord of stygian race called Wrath-Amon. Liza told Flannery that Wrath-Amon and his race of serpent-men known as Stygians are behind the Vestals being infected and forced to attack planet Naboo and also told her about how she ended up being Stygian: While training to be a dragon rider, Liza suffered an accident in which she lost an arm. Desperate to recover herself, Liza found an item known as Black Ring, which helped in regain her lost arm, but had a side effect which turned her into a Stygian and allowed Wrath-Amon to telepatically take control of her, regain his main source of power, and made her infect Vestals to attack Naboo. Now that she is free from Wrath-Amon's evil influence, Liza gave Flannery weapons made of a mineral known as Star Metal to fight Stygians, and informs her that she and her team will need them to fight Stygians as the exposure to anything made of the Star Metal will cause them to end up in a dimension called "the Abyss". Before leaving to other reaches of the universe to fight against Stygians, Liza also promises Flannery that she will someday redeem herself to her by saving her life just like she saved her life. Lir, Selena, Roxanne, Brawly, Wattson, Norman, Winona, siblings Tate and Liza, Steven Stone and Wallace have returned to Flannery and informed her how they bested the last of the Vestal invaders, and freed them from the curse, but at an unfortunate price. Padme got kidnapped and they were unable to do anything to stop it. And to make things worse, the entire orbital colony of Vestals turned out to be totally contaminated by Stygians, so Flannery and her friends had no choice but to devastate it in order to prevent the Stygian virus from spreading further. United Planets Federation informed their ace pilot Winona abot a similar attack by dragon-like alien race known as Pyrexeans on another colony in the orbit of planet Xibalba in Pulsarius system, whose main activity is asteroid mining and whose residents are Sindoreians. Flannery, Lir and Selena and the Hoenn's gym leaders are on their way there and they don't doubt that both races have been already infected by Stygians. Federation's scientists are close to finding out the homeworld of stygians and hope that they will estimate the coordinates of their main lair in a few days. In the meantime, Wrath-Amon has discovered that his slave Liza is free from his control, so he chooses to bribe a crimelord of planet Zeta from Rigel System in the Third Layer of Middle Defense Races known as Norman Osborn aka Green Goblin to temporarily ally with him and command Pyrexeans infected by Stygians into exterminating Sindoreians. Initially, Norman Osborn mocks Wrath-Amon is he unable do the job himself, or is he scheming something he is not allowed to know. However, when Wrath-Amon offers Norman Osborn that he will have a beautiful slave girl to decorate his criminal empire, Norman Osborn agrees to temporarily ally with Wrath-Amon and command the infected Pyrexeans. Having arrived in the main base of operations for Sindoreian race, Flannery is surprised with the appearance of her lover Primo, who is willing to help Sindoreians to fend off Pyrexean invaders when his training in their colony got interrupted by sudden invasion, with the help of new weapons made of Star Metal Liza gave Flannery and hear team. While Lir, Selena, Primo and rest of the Hoenn gym leaders choose to fight against Pyrexeans in the asteroid belts, Flannery chooses to make a sneaky approach into their flagship and uncover the location of Wrath-Amon's secret lair.
Gameplay: Alright, this is the fifth mission, and it's of medium difficulty. You will be fighting in the asteroid belts now, and the enemy ships here are different. Enemies you will meet here are these: Red Pyrexean Teethwings and Orange Pyrexean Teethwings They are slightly tougher than the Vestal Fighters, they fire one bright-yellow bullet in the direction they face, and both variants will sometimes aim at you. Pyrexean Blasteragons which fire three green bullets in a spread, and which always aim at you. And Pyrexean Blasterockets which can fire two bright-yellow bullets and two rockets at once, making them far more deadly than Vestal Cruisers.
