Let's Play Rebel Galaxy - Ep. 20 - The Sad End!
11While it's unfortunate, it's time to say good bye to Rebel Galaxy. I really do like this game a lot, but folks don't see to like watching it. This is fine, and I'd rather focus my energies and efforts on playing stuff you enjoy. :) As such, we go out with a bang! We rescue our Aunt, destroy Sandar, and leave the system! If there's a massive outcry of folks wanting this to continue, I've no qualms about it. If not, so be it! I've enjoyed my ride so far and I've given you all enough of the game to have you decide whether or not you want it. :) Sorry for anyone who loves this series. :(
Rebel Galaxy is another project that slipped by my radar and I was sooo happy to have it brought to my attention. I've been a big fan of Space Sims for years and sadly nothing has really lived up to the Freespace series for me. I'm happy to see another entry into the genre and with a little bit of a different take. Rebel Galaxy feels and looks good and I'm so happy that I can showcase it here at The Phreak Show. What Is Rebel Galaxy?
Rebel Galaxy is an epic space game about exploration, trading, diplomacy, mining, adventure and, of course, combat! Feel like making runs all over the known universe to buy low and sell high? Go for it! Do you want to be a villainous space pirate that attacks everything that moves and survives off of murder, death, slaughter and what can't obtained through those means, the outlaw outposts! Perhaps you fancy yourself a peace keeper and you befriend all the aliens you meet! You could always be the hero....I know it's done to death, but for good reason! Everyone loves the hero! The choice is yours folks and there are tons of choices to make. New ships to obtain, different weapon loadouts and combinations that may make you unstoppable. I'm going to do my best not to fly into a group of asteroids and blow myself up. I invite you to come along for the ride!
