In this latest episode of Red Dead Redemption gameplay, we finish preparations for the assault on Fort Mercer by helping Seth find his treasure, a process that involves exactly as many corpses as you’d expect when Seth’s involved. After Andy lost his Red Dead Redemption saves, we resolved to reclaim his 100 percent complete status by replaying our favourite game of the last generation - whetting our appetite for Red Dead Redemption 2, which is coming out on an unspecified release date in 2017, into the bargain.

Seth’s treasure isn’t quite as fabulous as he’d lead us to believe, as we discover when he opens the chest to reveal a single glass eye.

Perhaps the real treasure was the friendship that developed between John and Seth during their adventures. Or, more likely in Seth’s case, the hundreds of new corpses we made.
