Let's Play Resident Evil 0 (Blind) Final Part - The Final Boss And Ending
1Continuing on from the previous part, I take the lift out of the treatment plant, and Rebecca and Billy finally escape this hellish place!
But alas, the queen leech is not finished with us yet!
With the queen leech taking on a new form, we must defeat the queen leech once and for all!
After doing enough damange to it, a brief cutscene plays showing that the queen leech can't stand sunlight!
This leads to Rebecca coming up with a plan to open the roof so that the sunlight can finish off the queen leech.
In order to do this, either Rebecca or Billy must turn a bunch of valves in this large room in order to open the roof.
Seeing as Rebecca said she would do that, and Billy replied by saying that he'd keep the queen leech away from her so she can open the roof, I end up playing as Billy for the rest of this final boss fight!
With Rebecca automatically going to each valve in the correct order, I distract the leech queen by attacking it and playing ring around the rosie! (This fight is kind of comical!)
While the queen leech does kick my ass a bit here and there, I'm able to keep it far enough away from Rebecca as she turns the valves. (I even manage to trade items with her while she was doing that so that I could heal!)
Unlike the previous boss fight, I manage to get through this final boss on the first try and finally beat the game!
As the sunlight weakens the queen leech, Rebecca throws a revolver to Billy so that he can finish it off with one final shot! (It's no rocket launcher, but it gets the job done!)
And then in classic ending fashion for this series, the whole facility starts to blow up! (I guess Birkin finally set off the self destuct sequence!)
Barely making it out alive in time, Rebecca and Billy are finally free of that hell hole!
Billy takes this moment to finally get rid of the handcuffs he was wearing throughout the entire game!
Along with the handcuffs, Rebecca takes Billy's dog tags, telling him that she will report that he died.
In doing this, Billy will no longer be searched for by law inforcements.
After one final salute to each other, the two part ways, with Billy saying thank you to Rebecca as she leaves to check out the Spencer mansion.
While not the most amazing ending ever, this was a way better ending than the ones in the remake of the first resident evil! (While a great game, it had really underwhelming endings!)
After the credits finish rolling, I see the overall score for my playthrough.
With how terrible I was at this game, it's no surprise that I got a D ranking! (If the game has an E rank, then I can at least be satisfied with not getting the worst ranking!)
Along with giving my thoughts on the game during and after the credits, I also briefly check out leech hunter mode, Wesker mode, and also change costumes.
While this game annoyed me more often than not, I wouldn't say it's a bad game, or even a game that I hate.
I'd say it was an alright game that is kind of in the shadow of the resident evil remake that came out around about the same time as this game.
And now with all of that out of the way, and the after lp talk at the end of the video concluding this let's play, there is still one bonus part of this let's play to look forward to!
The bonus part in question is a little over an hour long of me playing the extra modes in this game!
