Continuing on from the previous part, I talk about how I off screen went through many in game days, and then go to bed.
Waking up the next day, I start said day by going about my usual morning routine of talking to everyone on the island.
Along with doing that, I also complete a request from Mikoto, get the last of Anette's cutscenes again, and eventually go on a date with Elena.
The request is to bring her a sardine that she can cut to test her sword.
The reward for doing this is sardine sashimi.
And as for the Anette cutscene, it plays out the same as the first time I got it while playing as Aden.
Anette declines Maerwen's suggestion to move to the island, but promises to visit her whenever she is on the island.
And as for the long awaited second date with Elena? Well it starts off with her being pretty late to the date, and somehow she claims we were the one who was late!
That aside, the date focuses on walking around in the area outside the inn as some cherry blossoms suddenly fly around.
Much like the date in winter, Elena made some food for us, and the date ends with Elena saying that she loves us.
It is around this point where the second half of the title of this part comes into play!
I somehow forgot to get the engagement ring out of storage before going on the date! (Fail!)
So with that in mind, I had to reload the game and start the date all over again!
How will things play out the second time around? Find out in the next part! (I actually run into another issue in the next part that leads to me having to redo the date again! Fail!)
