Let's Play Sam & Max in They Stole Max's Brain! - Part 1 - N.Y. Noire
0Still plenty of days to go so here's another Sam & Max project. The Narrator recaps the events of the previous episode then Sam is devastated to find out that Max has been fully lobotomized. He goes into quite a rage and begins interrogating the Molemen using tips he learned from good ol' Flint Paper. The molemen reveal to him that someone resembling Skunkape removed Max's brain and the Devil's Toybox is gone too. He meets one of Skunkape's minions sign spinning for a pet store. He tells his story of his innocence then tells Sam to find Frankie the Rat. Frankie tells Sam that he was giving directions to a Tourist to a museum. Sam finds the Tourist in an alleyway and he tells Sam of a fight that broke out and he was mugged afterwards. He goes back to Frankie and accuses him of lying about sending the Tourist to the museum. Frankie refuses to talk and then Sam threatens him. He admits he saw a fight break out and he and one of Skunkape's minions hid and witnessed the Tourist taking a souvenir. Sam interrogates the Tourist about the souvenir. He picked it up from a gentlemen Skunkape fought with, a piece of paper reading Dr. Norrington. He runs the slip of paper with the Crime-Tron and gets no data. He finally goes back to interrogate Skunkape's minion one last time, who admits he knows of Skunkape's return. He saw that General Skunkape had brain in a jar and a gentlemen holding a toybox. He shows Sam the Rhinoplasty toy which he'll use to get back into Skunkape's good graces. Sam breaks the minion's spirit with some noir logic and takes the toy. He goes back to the Crime-Tron again and still no data. He threatens the poor machine and it forces out a location to Museum of Mostly Natural History. At the Museum, Sam places Max's brainless body to the side then notices some commotion coming from the Museum's planetarium.
