Blasting large cannonballs at an innocent woman. Classy.

Note: This Let's Play is done in GBA mode to "fill the void," so to speak; I couldn't find any Let's Plays for the game that were done on the Advance. So you can compare this LP to others if you're interested in what ways the game was enhanced on the GBA.

NOTES ON EMULATION:

Some people appear to be having trouble getting this game to work, so here's what I know.

VisualBoyAdvance 1.7.2 (the final stable version) has trouble playing the game. If this is what you're using, you have some options:
* upgrade to VBA-M. (see below)
* downgrade to VBA 1.6.
* switch to another emulator, like BGB. (but why would you want to do that? :P)

VBA-M is a modern fork of VBA (i.e. same project, but with different people maintaining it). This is because VBA itself hasn't been updated since 2004. Yes, that's right, the emulator you are using is THAT OLD. So get with the times, and get VBA-M!

I will not discuss ROMs.

NOTES ON "GBA ADVANCED" MODE

**This is not a romhack!** It is the original version of the game for GBC; the game detects when it is put in a GBA and makes the colors brighter (because the original GBA screen was very dark!). It also lets you unlock a secret dance/transformation.

To use GBA mode in VBA-M, go to Options :: Game Boy :: Configure... :: System tab :: Emulated system and pick Game Boy Advance. Then load the ROM (or reset with Ctrl+R if you already loaded). These instructions were last tested on VBA-M WX version 2.0.0beta2.

Note that any old save states will still be in GBC mode so be sure to save IN-GAME and load from the title screen when changing modes.
