People in town and on local BBSs (it is the 90s after all) start babbling lunacy about demons and worlds ending, a murder in the park, lockdown and police investigations... what ON EARTH is going on?

Shin Megami Tensei is a Japanese role playing game from 1992 that has been released on the Super Famicom system. A first person "blobber" style game, it's one of the earlier entries in a long running series that later spawned such internationally popular game things like the Persona or Digital Devil Saga series.
