We do battle with the enemies of the Circus. Giant Bats just can't resist the temptation of showing how pathetic they are at this point. Evil Puppets and Mannequins aren't that bad, although they can cast Freeze. Dire Clowns see pretty easy to deal with, considering they never got the chance to do anything.

But the Marionette is a completely different story. The first boss of the game. Capable of casting Freeze Level 3 and wiping out groups of characters at a time. And if that wasn't bad enough, somehow heals HP every turn.
