Come with me into a realm betwixt dreams and reality; a slumbering town of memories, blood and grief lost among the centuries of suffering as dense as the fog and as shapeless as your imagination; a place where life, death and the subconscious all linger upon the precipice of one another; a place only known by those who have heard its calling and who have come away to know the true meaning of Silent Hill.

Needless to say, this playthrough will not hold back spoilers for most of the playthrough; if you want a 100% spoiler free experience, you would best play the game for yourself. My plan is to cover the original quadrilogy by Silent Team in chronological order as I break down the mythos while I am playing. For the sake of keeping some mystery for those who don't mind some spoilers, I will limit my discussions of the plot, puzzles, characters and the mythos of SIlent Hill as we unravel this game together. Additionally, I will only talk about each entry in the context of the game itself or the game(s) that came beforehand, so most of this first playthrough will focus exclusively on the first entry.

Any reference materials or ideas will be mentioned in the video and/or featured in the annotations, so think of this playthrough as an examination and analysis of Silent Hill by myself as well by the community's feedback on the games. As we continue on with the sequels, we can compare and contrast the games as well as discuss the narrative in greater detail, so it's advised that you watch these videos and series in order (and play the games for yourself beforehand.)
