Skyborn is an RPGMaker title by Dancing Dragon Games featured in a steam punk setting. The game follows the story of an airship mechanic named Claret Spencer who is living under the rule of a winged race known as -- you guessed it -- the Skyborn. Claret is soon pulled into the ongoing conflict between the Skyborn, the half-breeds, and the Humans that threatens more than just one city or race.

The game takes less than 20 hours to complete and costs $15 on Steam. Some people will say that is too steep a price. The game features a well written story, believable and consistent characters, and a lively personality. It's a good game, but the price is a hard sell. Personally, I can't in good faith recommend any game who's price doesn't at least equal $1 per hour of entertainment. However, the game is very impressive for an RPGMaker title and shows what you can do with the software.
