Lets Play: "Slay The Spire" Part 110 (The Defect Ascension 10 Run 9)
1IT HAS BEEN DONE!!! (I said the wrong title in the intro.. Forgive me again..)
We finally made it happen gamers.. We're moving forward once again! This time we made a deck with a very simple but effective theme.. Create a lot of orbs to help us passively in the fight, then scale those orbs with both focus and more orb slots. We did this with FOUR copies of Defragment, all upgraded eventually, we had an Echo Form that would duplicate those Defragments to give even more focus.. We had a Biased Cognition that we could use when we thought it was time to rush the enemy down and TWO key relics that really enabled this deck so well. After the first act we got the Inserter relic which allowed us to create more and more orb slots for our focus to scale, and then we also replaced our Cracked Core with the Frozen Core after act two, which fills any empty slot we have with a frost orb which is was an INCREDIBLY strong defensive relic swap for us and what we needed to make this run work. We beat the Time Eater like it was nobodies business and being completely honest here I wasn't really worried about him leading up to the fight. I believed in our deck and what we could do and I just knew if I could get Echo Form set up, we had it in the bag and we got lucky (BECAUSE we kept a more THIN precise deck this time) and found our Echo Form in the starting hand.. Even though I didn't duplicate potion the Echo Form like I was planning (I got so excited it was in my opening hand, my brain just blacked out lol) we still dominated the fight and the run as a whole. I've named this deck "Frozen Focus" for obvious reasons and I'll never look at focus the same way again. I'll see you guys next time!
