Lets Play: "Slay The Spire" Part 108 (The Defect Ascension 10 Run 7)
1I think we've finally hit our second wall.. Ascension ten with The Defect..
We started this run out transforming two cards into a Scrape and a Skim, which led me to wanting to finally try and make the Scrape deck which is basically just a bunch of zero cost cards and you wheel the deck around quickly with Scrape and cheap cost cards, causing status ailments and being energy efficent but then we got relics and rare cards that started pulling me into an orb creation identity.. I think that was our big mistake this run. Being too wide and not having a solid lane. Eventually we a Streamline to be our main damage dealer and it scaled really well with the Scrape because eventually it becomes free and if we're wheeling the deck around quickly, we're bound to find the Streamline faster and make it more efficient to play. After that we found two Echo Forms and our idea became simple. Play Echo Forms. Play a Echo Formed Streamline dealing fourty something damage. Survive until we can do that again. GGEZ. The ships sails started to fall apart in the second act after taking a Runic Dome and started walking through the dark.. I also quickly realized we had like no defenses in this deck and I just kept getting smacked up for half our life in one turn so.. BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD LADS! We're hitting a wall here but we WILL get through this wall! I promise you gamers! Until tomorrow!
