Lets Play: "Slay The Spire" Part 29 (The Defect Ascension 3 Run 1)
CAW! CAAAW!
Let me tell you a story.. about a time bending, three armed, one eyed, ravened headed gold hungry automoton. And no I'm not making this up. Pay attention. BOYS this deck was a fun one! To tell the truth I had no idea where we were going with this thing in the early game, I just let the chips fall where they lie and worked out the puzzle from there and this is what we got. This deck centered around our key cards. Those cards were two copies of Echo Form, playing one on another would then give us THREE stacks of our Echo buff, copying the first THREE cards we would play. Then, cards like an upgraded Buffer would give us two turns on intangibility, but doubled making it FOUR turns. Cards like Hand of Greed filled our coin purses with gold to spend on a wide array of things. Things like relics, cards, removals, potions.. But Hand of Greed also was 2 mana often times deal 25 or even 50+ damage in a single turn. It was our bread and butter big damage ability until we started to become more of a orb based build. We grabbed a Defragment and Biased Cognition along our run and that allowed us to stack our focus up to insane numbers when played on Echo Form turns, often turns making our electric orbs do 15+ damage each, and our frost orbs giving us 20~ block each. I'm trying to blab less about these deck details, but some of the key relics that really enabled our late game were things like Data Disc, giving us MORE focus for free, things like Bottled Flame allowing us to start with the Hand of Greed in our opening hand hoping to one shot weaker mobs for gold, Meat on the Bone and Lizard Tail were nice insurnace on our run, and things like Pen Nib always help in those massive hits. I think this deck named itself the moment I accepted to trade our face away to the mask merchant. This deck will forever be known as "The Three-Armed Raven". CAW!
