I must draw the conclusion that God (hint: it's not YHVH this time) is the whipped, spineless parent of a spoiled though still sweet adopted child, for which He has a weird fetish. All other humans, having since proven their ineptitude (ROLAND!), their stupidity (ARGILLA!) or their greed (...Roland again, maybe?) have proven to be worth removing from reality through mass data devouring, and being turned into a small variety of "And I Must Scream" prior to said complete and total annihilation. Minus Sera of course, who instead gets to tell her friends all about whatever sickeningly sweet crap is on this week's menu, preaching the good word of dear ol' daddy, hoping that she'll be able to change His mind about the other humans if she just asks nicely enough.

And YHVH thought He got portrayed badly. Not if you'll excuse me, I have to get that mental image out of my head. Through gratuitous amounts of violence between a number of 40 to 200 ton giant mechas with axes, chainsaws, and a variety of other gruesome implements of bloody violence.
