Let's Play Space Quest 6, Part 6
0Hello, and welcome to part 6 of my Let's Play of Space Quest 6!
In the last episode, Roger had just attended Stellar's funeral. Back at his quarters, he had a message waiting for him. It was Stellar, just being able to say a few words before being cut off. He hurried to commander Kielbasa to ask for help to save Stellar. But he didn't believe Roger and ordered him off the bridge. So if Roger wants to save Stellar, he has to do it himself.
At 8-Rear, the ship's lounge, he met Circuit Sidney, the friendly ship android. They had a little chat about Roger looking all worried. Sidney made the promise to help him in any way he could. That could come in handy. The entrance to the shuttlebay is hevily guarded by Magnum Opus and Chesbro, so if Roger wants to leave the Deepship 86, he needs to get through them somehow. That somehow revealed itself in the ship's database, in the form of the Vulgar Nerve Pinch. Roger went back to the holodeck to watch a demonstration of this martial arts technique.
Roger successfully knocked out Chesbro, but was in turn taken care of by Magnum Opus, and later woke up in the brig. With the help of some food, and thanks to the security chief Dorff being so nearsighted, he managed to escape. So, how to deal with Magnum Opus? Among the food he got, there was a donut, Magnum's favorite. Roger snuck off to the Sickbay to get something to drug the donut with and then moved on to the shuttlebay entrance again.
