Let's Play Starward Rogue - #18: Arsenal on Extended Normal (1/3)
3In this part, I use the Heavy Assault Mech Arsenal on the Extended Normal mode. It's one of the six new mechs that Logorogue added in their "more mechs" mod. You can download that mod here: https://forums.arcengames.com/starward-rogue-mods-modding/more-mechs/
The Arsenal Mech focuses on wielding two primary weapons at a time, with the trade-offs being low missile capacity, poor energy reserves, and average armor plating. So, the main objective of this mech is to hunt down new and better weaponry. Even several of the upgrades in the leveling tree support this, with fire rate and damage focused upgrades.
What followed turned out to be my best overall run. I managed to get so many useful items and powerups that I eliminated most of this mech's downsides. And the dual main weaponry allowed me to chew through most of the enemies with ease. Then again, all of this happened probably more to the RNG being in my favor for most of the run.
