Let's Play Super Mario 64 (Blind) - Power Miscellany - Part 8
As much as I'd like to say that I can master any 25+ year old game overnight, I just can't do it. (Don't tell the Diablo 2 crowd. They get very ornery that I couldn't figure out the perfectly optimized approach to a game they played for 20 years in 20 minutes.) So let's do a lot of trial and error and error and error in this episode.

Super Mario 64 is a 3D platformer developed and published by Nintendo in 1996 for the Nintendo 64. It was later re-released on the Wii Virtual Console and as part of the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection on the Switch. A handheld remake, Super Mario 64 DS, was released for the Nintendo DS.
Super Mario 64 was Nintendo's first 3D game for their mascot character. While it was their first 3D effort in the genre, it was also a massive success setting the bar for platformers and gaming as a whole. Even a quarter-century later, SM64 is generally considered among the greatest games of all-time with many writers and publications rating it at #1.
Once again, the nefarious Bowser is up to no good. He has invaded Princess Peach's castle, taken she and most of her court prisoner and stolen the castle's Power Stars. Fortunately, a conveniently timed invitation to the castle means that Mario is on hand to save the day. It just a matter of exploring the secrets of Peach's castle and retrieving the Power Stars to rescue the princess and break Bowser's hold on the kingdom.
