"Luke, Tear, Ion and Mieu met with the Liger Queen. She was in the process of hatching her eggs, which could've been dangerous to the nearby village of Engeve. The group took her out, not without the help of Colonel Jade who conveniently showed up during the battle.

Driving the Ligers away, the group went back to tell the Cheagle Elder. Luke saved Mieu's life during this effort, and the Elder told Luke that Mieu would accompany Luke for a year to repay him."

Plot twists and all that jazz, what's not to enjoy?
