TMNT was (almost) directly ported from the 4 player arcade smash which crashed onto our shores back in 1991. It coincided with the massive hype of the cartoon and the film.

Mark does however forget to mention that in the UK the cartoon was called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles mainly due to 20 nagging mothers from the suburbs who considered Ninja to be too violent a term!

I'm sure he can be forgiven.
