This video has an intro before the gameplay where I show the box and manual. Also, I'm not certain of the release date as many sources indicate 1988; the copyright on the box is 1987 though that does not always mean release year. I believe the C64 and PC versions were the first to release in the U.S. with other computer editions coming later.
I should point out that my criticisms of the graphics are in comparison to the other computer versions in case that isn't clear. Obviously, the Game Boy version does not have impressive graphics either but that one does play better and has more features. Of course, Tetris isn't about the graphics, though the C64 release is likely the most basic version of the game there is.
