Mikey and Solon take a dive into the dank dirty dungeons of Edmund McMillen and Florian Himsl's "The Binding of Isaac" (2011). Solon discusses a whole bunch of critical points ranging from the effects of the biblical allusions of the games to the themes of youthful self-depreciation. Mikey, as Solon's natural foil, sucks his thumb and cries for mommy as his psyche is tortured by the frightening ghouls and goblins that he has to fight... With only his tears, of course. Meanwhile, Isaac stutter steps his way deeper and deeper into his mother's dungeon lair. I feel like there is a Freudian metaphor there. Naaaah...

The Intro and Outro music comes straight from the soundtrack to Binding and can be bought with the game or separately on Steam here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/113203/
If you don't have it, you should, because it is wonderful, and it is a dollar for the WHOLE THING.

This is part 1 of 2 with commentary, now with psychological trauma and disturbingly cute gore-imagery!
