Well .. the baddies are similar to Enemy Unknown as are some of the later weapons and set pieces.
I'm going to reserve judgement until the game amazes or totally pisses me off one way or the other but I'm cautiously optimistic.
I'm mainly happy they stopped calling it "just" XCOM and made it more of a game set in the XCOM mythos than trying to replace it totally.
