The Evil Within is a 2014 survival horror game made by the legendary Shinji Mikami of Resident Evil and Dino Crisis fame. The game has a great setting, fascinating (though confusing) story and chunky, hefty combat. Unforunately that combat is often very challenging, filled with insta-kill enemies and takes up way to much of the game compared to almost non-existent exploration and puzzle solving. I had fun and was glad to play it in the lead up to spooky season but let me know if you enjoyed it or were too frustrated to continue!
