Part 1 of my Halo series Let's Play, where we play all the Halo games while sharing thoughts, experiences, and comparing the originals to the remakes, in anticipation of Halo Infinite.
Join me as we talk about the first game that started it all, Halo: Combat Evolved for the original Xbox, while comparing the game to the later remakes, Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary on the Xbox 360, Halo Master Chief Collection on the Xbox One, and even some thoughts on the PC version of Halo Combat Evolved.
Here is the link to my original Halo vs Halo Anniversary comparison video, original created for my Blog I was writing at the time (Still has the watermarked logo of the Blog):
For those interested in adjusting the General Settings of a custom match of Halo Reach or Halo Anniversary multiplayer (as seen in the link above at 3:01, and mentioned in this Let's Play video), here is a tutorial on how to do so:
-After playing an "Anniversary" game type, which has the upgraded pistol to kill your opponents with 3 head shots, go to your Temporary History and save that gametype.
-Go into the Game Options and General Settings of that gametype, and under Base Player Traits, Weapons and Damage, increase the starting Grenade Count to 4X FRAG.
-Then under Movement, change the Player Speed to 100%, the Jump Height to 90%, and the Player Gravity to 75%.
-Also, the Shield Recharge rate can be decreased to 100%, as well as disable Super Shields to eliminate the flaming feet effect, to further emulate a Halo Combat Evolved experience in Halo Reach and Halo Anniversary multiplayer games.
