It's our turn to go back in time, all the way to the canonically first Zelda game, now brought to you in Full HD and 60 FPS in this remaster. Long before all of the other adventures, there was just a boy called Link, living his best life on Skyloft. Until the gears of fate start turning... or could it all have been set in motion by someone?
After getting some of the remaining Heart Pieces and stocking up on potions, we tackle the fight with Ghirahim again. Zelda villain's are pretty smart and it looks like all hope is lost when the Demon King is resurrected! Thankfully, thousands of years of being sealed away made Demise telegraph his attacks and Link saves the day. Arguably, given the Curse that gets placed on Link, Zelda and everyone else...
Skyward Sword HD isn't a bad game, but it is one of the weaker Zelda games in the end. It doesn't quite live up to the better traditional Zelda games, the backtracking is at times painful and the newer mechanics would not get fleshed out until Breath of the Wild. The Motion Controls are nice - in theory, if they work for you, because the semi-constant needing to reset the gyro was getting on our nerves.
Also, Fi is more annoying than Navi.
Deal with it.
