0We head left of the city gates where men are being tortured and crucified. We cut down a wheel with a man still tied and nailed to it then get a free apple from an archer playing William Tell on a man he's torturing. After we repair the woman's cart and feed her donkey, she lies to us and takes off. The gatekeepers see this and award us with a visa for people who are so easily fooled. At least we can go into town now. Peter's Basilica is across the canal and the boatman won't take us there unless we have a boat pass. We see a magician in town performing tricks or, as the people see them, miracles like he's Jesus Christ. He can teach us how to walk on water if we give him some berries that grow in the graveyard. In the graveyard, a priest is trying to stop a man from lingering in a grave before his time and they get crushed by boulders. We give the berries to the magician and instead of teaching us how to walk on water, he presents a boat pass. We sail across the canal and arrive in front of the Basilica.
