Hello and welcome to my brand new blind playthrough of The Witcher 3. This series has been a long time coming. My previous playthrough of Witcher 2 finished about three years ago, back in November of 2018. At the time, I wanted a bit of a break from the series and so put Witcher 3 on the backburner while I did other things. But now, I have decided that the time has finally come to play this game.

As to what to expect in this run, the first thing worth mentioning is that this is a blind playthrough. Everything after the first bounty mission with the noonwraith, I have never experienced before so this will be entirely blind. As a result, I ask that you avoid spoilers in the comments (not so much for me – more for people watching this as I'll be recording this series about a month in advance of what you see).

I will be quasi-roleplaying the game as I have with the past two. What this will mean is that I will be playing Geralt primarily with more of a mercenary angle to things. There will be exceptions made depending on the specific circumstances but our primary motivation will be to follow the money.

So, welcome to the Witcher 3 and I hope you enjoy what will inevitably be a very long journey through what I fully expect to be an amazing game. Oh yes, almost forgot but we are playing on the hardest difficulty.
