This is the sixth mission of the eleventh battle of TIE Fighter, Hunt for Zaarin. The Vorknkx project (what kind of name is that?) is developing a new, more compact cloaking device (apparently Palpatine didn't share the technology of the Sith Infiltrator with his military post-Republic), and as former head of R&D Zaarin knew about it. The project has made a sudden breakthrough and Zaarin immediately attacked, which says he still has spies in the R&D division, but that is a concern for after we rescue the project.
