Alright, so, this is most definitely a thing. And I do apologise if it wasn't how you were expecting this to go, but... Fraps decided to do the biggest dick move ever and not record my mic during the rollercoaster of the original LP. This is despite the mic being on and the software being told to record it. I put the intro video up because I had cleared it and recorded it, and everything was MEANT to be fine...

So in the end I redid the run. In the same day. Because I did not want to make the same mistake as before with respect to the MoF playthrough and put the intro video up like a week before I get the run itself done. Naturally my emotions weren't exactly in the best of conditions to begin this again, but I did what I had to. So here it is.

This video (and indeed, this series as a whole I guess) does show perfectly well WHY it took me so long to get this all out though. It is so easy to screw up somewhere, whether it is because of misplays or just bad luck. The Kogasa fight showed the latter perfectly - both the second and third spells are perfectly doable, but I just got unlucky in this run. It feels like a terrible excuse, but at the same time it is PERFECTLY justified because there is much more inherent randomness in this game than there is in almost all of the other games (EoSD has a lot too but it is generally not as hard as this to dodge the stuff if it doesn't go perfectly).

So, I am more than capable of doing better than this, but luck really does need to be a little kinder to me sometimes.
