Welcome to Touhou Luna Nights, a polished Touhou fangame featuring Sakuya and familiar faces from the Scarlet Devil Mansion. This is a metroidvania game, featuring fast paced action, brain teasing puzzles, and rewarding copious amounts of exploration. There are power-ups to find, currency to earn and mysteries to unravel, all packed into a neat little package.

We tackle most obstacles using our abilities to both manipulate time and throw knives; a potent combo! Many puzzles and obstacles are timing based, but with limitations placed on our time controlling abilities we need to think carefully how to overcome them. Battles too make great use of our time stopping abilities, creating attack windows, letting us out manoeuvre complex attack patterns, and outflank our opponents at a moment's notice. It's a complicated abilities with an array of interesting applications throughout!

Plot-wise we're a pawn in a bigger scheme. It's nothing too elaborate, but a being more powerful than us has decided to create a series of challenges for us, all for their own ultimate amusement. We will prove ourselves worthy of escaping this illusion and returning to the (somewhat) real world of Gensokyo? The best way to find out is to watch along. Join me, and we shall both solve and overcome the world of Touhou Luna Nights together!
