Story: Duen Long, Aoi Rokusho, Sherry LeBlanc, Madara Uchiha and Sa'luk return to the Empire of the Night's new base on planet Sigma with news that they brought Oskar and Gothetta, and that Mira Clay is dead. And Darchon reveals how his mortal henchmen got to the Treasure of Aquaria before our heroes got a chance. Now with the treasure as a last needed component, Darchon reveals how his new Nightmare Generator will now be operational and able to invade everybody in their nightmares, terrorizing them and keeping them trapped them forever in nightmare universe until their deaths, while he and his Empire of the Night will take Gods of the Universe's places as new Rulers of the Universe, and Sherry gloats how now her statue of her standing invincible will stand forever as a reminder that she is now the most powerful mortal in the universe after her triumph against Mira Clay. Meanwhile, after a run-in with a group of several Chulta Olirions, Duke realizes his teammates are kidnapped and much to his horror, he finds Mira Clay dead, and mourns how he and others failed to help her. But Mira reveals to be barely alive and despairs about how she lost her children to the Empire of the Night, and Duke realizes they are also the ones who kidnapped Lief, Flannery, Primo, Tea, Tsubasa, Corona, Diane, Launchpad and Padme and tries to get to Mira to go rescue them, but Mira is too dejected as she realizes her enemies were right about her not being a hero. Duke tries to remind Mira about her previous accomplishments about how she destroyed One Jewel and saved the universe from Witch Haggar and Galra Empire's malice, and how she is the one who has ever defeated one of the former Gods of the Universe, Darth Sidious and his Protorion Cult, yet Mira is still in despair about how she will never be a hero others thought she was. But after a little convincing, Duke manages to give her the confidence that it doesn't matter what others think of someone, but what she thinks of herself, at least that's what she always taught others who had self-doubts. And how her friends and family need her, for who else will rescue them? Hearing Duke's speech, Mira confesses that he's right how her allies need a hero, and that she has no choice but to be that hero. Mira struggles to get up, but eventually succeeds, and declares that she and Duke will set out to rescue her family and their friends, and how they will send Empire of the Night to the fiends once and for all. Duke is excited how Mira is back to her determined and heroic-self and how nothing will stop them, with the exception about how they are clueless about where to find Empire of the Night's base on Sigma. However, something strange appears to guide Mira and Duke to the base, but what could it be? And can Mira and Duke on their own save their friends and stop the evil Empire of the Night from unleashing the full power of their Nightmare Generator on the entire universe?
Gameplay: Eight levels are from 8-1 to 8-17 and they are very hard. One of the problems in this game is that there is absolutely no Ball Catching Power-Up at all, which would be really handy as it is very easy to lose the ball if it's moving too fast. It also doesn't help when bricks are very close to the bat either.
