Let's Play Ultimate Doom - E4M2 - Perfect Hatred
0A level infamous for being one of the hardest levels in Doom and Doom 2, we work our way through it from a fist start (imagine, people normally challenge themselves with a pistol start, but we don't even have a single bullet). This level is also well known for being designed in six hours by Romero. While I appreciate the challenge the map offers, I just don't find the design that interesting as it mostly involves caves and platforms. It reminds me of the Plutonia Experiment from the one time I touched it, extremely forgettable design that blurs together with the only interesting thing being its challenge. I would rather a level have memorable design and challenge, but if I could only have one I still believe I would prefer memorable design as it can be nice to check out. The way a level like this works, I just am working my way through it and have to deal with a level that just isn't that interesting for a longer period of time.
