Let's Play Uncharted Waters: New Horizons - Ali's Story 05
I've been able to dodge storms up until now, but our next destinations take us repeatedly towards the eye of the hurricane. Thankfully, with a tougher ship, we should be able to handle the rougher seas. We're really starting to branch out on the route now.
Here are the rules of the trading challenge:
1. I have to start and end the route in Istanbul, where I have to buy my first trade good (in this case, Carpet.)
2. Upon arriving in the next port, I have to sell my entire load of goods that I bought in the previous port, and buy a new load of a single type of good. In other words, I can't buy more than one type of good at a port.
3. In the course of the route, I have to trade every single trade good in the game.
4. I can't buy or sell a trade good that I've bought or sold previously. In other words, I can't "repeat" a good.
5. I can't buy or sell trade goods in a port that I've been to previously. In other words, I can't "repeat" a port.
6. When selling a good, it must be done for a profit. Here, "profit" is solely defined as selling the good for higher than I purchased it. It does not account for costs of food, repairs, and so on.
7. I am not allowed to invest in a port unless that good is not available in the game without investing (Tin Ore), or which is not available due to my choice of route. This gets explained more as I go through the route.
I prepared this route with the help of the following:
