Let's Play Uncharted Waters: New Horizons - Ali's Story 01
79We're hitting the waves again in Uncharted Waters: New Horizons! This time around, our hero is Ali. Other captains might be happy with adventure and conquest, but Ali is all about that CASH MONEY. Also, finding his long lost sister, but that's gonna have to wait.
It's relatively easy to make money in this game by trading. I could bore you guys to death by trading between just a few ports and making my money printer go *brrrrrrttt* but that's only fun for so long. Instead, I've come up with a challenge that will make me work hard for the money, so you better treat me right. Essentially, I have to profitably trade every single trade good in the game in one long chain without revisiting ports or trading a good I've already traded. Here are the rules in depth:
1. I have to start and end the route in Istanbul, where I have to buy my first trade good (in this case, Carpet.)
2. Upon arriving in the next port, I have to sell my entire load of goods that I bought in the previous port, and buy a new load of a single type of good. In other words, I can't buy more than one type of good at a port.
3. In the course of the route, I have to trade every single trade good in the game.
4. I can't buy or sell a trade good that I've bought or sold previously. In other words, I can't "repeat" a good.
5. I can't buy or sell trade goods in a port that I've been to previously. In other words, I can't "repeat" a port.
6. When selling a good, it must be done for a profit. Here, "profit" is solely defined as selling the good for higher than I purchased it. It does not account for costs of food, repairs, and so on.
7. I am not allowed to invest in a port unless that good is not available in the game without investing (Tin Ore), or which is not available due to my choice of route. This gets explained more as I go through the route.
