Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome to the first episode of Warhammer the End Times: Vermintide. This is a game that is exactly like Left 4 Dead, only instead of zombies, it's rat men. Also, instead of generic human characters that use the same weapons, we have different classes, including a wizard, which will be our first character in the Horn of Magnus, the prologue of this game. We set up with some bots, so that we an experience the game fresh and new and by ourselves. We get used to the mechanics of this character and begin by promptly screwing up the fireball mechanics and venting the flames so we don't explode. We spend a lot of time in the beginning area as we get used to the game but eventually start to progress. We head through the first tower, and into the hog pits, and beyond. We make it about half way through this level and decide to end the episode before we make it too long. However a surprise waits for us at the beginning of the next episode...when we realize the pause button is not very effective.
