WarCraft II: Remastered is a remaster of the 1995 real-time strategy game WarCraft II: Tides of Darkness and its expansion pack, Beyond the Dark Portal. The remaster was developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, and became available right after its announcement on November 13, 2024, alongside a remaster of WarCraft: Orcs & Humans.
Due to being more advanced than WarCraft: Orcs & Humans already and having received further upgrades with its Battle.net Edition release, the differences between the last release and the remaster of WarCraft II are less significant. However, some new features, such as double-click selection of all visible units of one type and a higher selection limit are included.
Like WarCraft: Remastered, WarCraft II: Remastered received mixed reviews. Critics noted that little effort went into the remaster, with cinematics being AI-upscaled, the new visuals looking shoddy, and an internet connection being required even for skirmish matches.
