Let's Play White Day (PS4) Part 22 - The Rest Of The Ghost List And More Plot
1Continuing on from the previous part, I head to main building 2 to encounter the only other ghost I had yet to encounter.
However! It doesn't go that smoothly due to the janitor continuing to chase me around the building!
And even after getting away from the janitor and making it to the biology room in main building 2, encountering the last of the ghosts takes multiple tries to summon it!
But eventually, after multiple tries, the ghost of the anatomical manikin finally appears!
As the anatomical manikin walks towards me, I dodge it by walking around a desk until it disappears. (The floating head ghost also once again appeared during this!)
After that encounter, the only thing left to do to complete the ghost list is obtain the last of the ghost stories.
So with that in mind, I make my way back to the new building and enter the history room on the ground floor.
Using all of the paper cranes I picked up, I solve the paper crane puzzle and obtain the last ghost story.
This ghost story, "Extreme dieting death", is related to the ghost girl I encountered in the cafeteria a few parts back. (The one that took two lunch boxes.)
And with that ghost story obtained, the ghost collection is finally complete!
And so with that now out of the way, I finally return to the plot!
Heading back to the door in the new building that has a slot for a token next to it, I insert the water token.
Upon doing that, the woman we briefly encountered a while ago reappears.
After throwing a knife at us, she begins to angrily ramble about her deceased daughter.
With how loud she was being, both of the janitors randomly show up and run towards her.
But before they can get to her, she screams at them for not saving her daughter.
Her screaming is so loud that it smashes a few windows and knocks both janitors out.
The woman then turns her attention back to us and says that we shall suffer too.
The cutscene then ends with the woman charging towards us with a knife!
So with her being determined to kill us, we obviously have to run for our life!
Running all the way up to the fourth floor, I make it to the switches for the alarm and lights.
But when I get there, I notice that I had forgot to switch the power to the alarm switch a few parts ago!
So without that, the woman stabs us instead! (Fail!)
After reloading the game, I make my way to the fourth floor while avoiding the janitor.
Once there, I switch the power to the alarm switch and then head back down stairs to insert the water token into the slot again.
Redoing the chase scene once again, I make it back to the switches and turn on the alarm.
As this is going on, we see Sung-A switching on the power in the power room so that the alarm could be turned on.
The sound of the alarm causes the woman to back up as she screams in pain from the noise.
Not paying attention to her surroundings, the woman falls all the way down to the ground floor.
As she dies, the woman says that she will always protect her daughter.
With the woman now dead, Sung-A runs in to see if we're okay.
After confirming that we're alright, she asks us about why the woman was trying to kill us.
Picking the choice to say that she must have gone insane over the death of her daughter, Sung-A seems surprised to hear that.
Putting all of that aside, Sung-A says that she heard Ji-Hyeon screaming coming from the auditorium/lecture hall.
She also still thinks that So-Young must be trying to doing something bad.
After telling us to go to the auditorium, Sung-A once again leaves on her own.
With that scene ending there, I head to the door I unlocked with the water token earlier.
As I enter the hallway beyond this door, another scene plays showing some strange purple mist-like spirits surrounding the dead woman.
After that scene, I finally enter the auditorium.
Upon entering the auditorium, I pick up a note and then save the game.
But what will happen next? Find out in the next part!
