Continuing on from the previous part, I slowly, very slowly, get around to solving the light puzzle!
The key word here is "Slowly", as I spend more time rambling about the new year montage, and the new year in general, and trying to avoid the janitor more than anything else!
But eventually, I manage to solve the puzzle, obtain the key to the rooftop pool, and then realise that I still had to solve the clock puzzle!
So I then go about solving that puzzle while rambling about other games and getting confused by the controls due to having played resident evil 7 recently! (I kept pressing the wrong button to run in the game!)
After solving that puzzle and obtaining the L-rod and spirit bell, I head to the top floor and unlock the door to the rooftop pool.
With the mermaid ghost swimming in the pool, we have to use the L-rod to detect an invisible bridge over the pool to get to the other side.
After some fail while trying to get across, I get to the other side of the pool and drain the water.
In doing that, the mermaid ghost fades away and we're able to pick up the water token.
So with the water token now in hand, we can move onto the next area of the school.
But what will happen when we place the water token in the slot next to the door to the next building? Find out the answer to that in the next part!
