Let's Play White Day (PS4) Part 32 - Sung A's Endings
Continuing on from the previous part, I insert the water token into the hole next to the door to the auditorium.
This once again leads to the distraught woman trying to kill us as we run all the way to the fourth floor to turn on the alarm system.
After the woman falls to her death due to slipping off the edge of the walkway, Sung-A runs in to check on us and inform us that she heard Ji-Hyeon's screaming coming from the auditorium.
Telling us to go on ahead while saying she'll catch up with us later, I enter the auditorium.
After wandering around, turning on the lights to reveal that Ji-Hyeon is asleep/knocked out on the stage, and noticing some machinery that is about to explode, I make my way to the main section of the auditorium.
As the auditorium goes up in flames upon opening the door, the distraught woman returns once again.
With the woman trying to kill us with her knife again, we have to pick up 3 fire extinguishers, put out some of the fire, pick up a valve, and then use said valve to get the sprinkler system on to extinguish the fire.
As the fire gets put out, the woman stops moving and fades away.
After that, Ji-Hyeon wakes up and walks towards us with a limp.
Unlike last time, I pick the choice to go look for Sung-A when she tells us to go look for her.
So with that in mind, I head to the door on the second floor and insert the last of the tokens into the hole next to it.
Upon doing that, the first of Sung-A's endings plays out.
This first ending sees So-Young waking up Hee-Min, who seems to have fallen asleep on the floor near the exit.
After telling us that everything is alright now, So-Young opens the door that leads outside.
While understandably suspicious of the situation, Hee-Min walks out the door with So-Young.
And then after the credits, we get an extra scene showing the real So-Young banging on a window in the school screaming in vain as she becomes trapped in the school.
We then switch back to Hee-Min and the fake So-Young as they leave the school grounds.
With a final shot of the fake So-Young smiling, it becomes very clear that the fake So-Young is actually Sung-A!
But why? How? What? Maybe her second ending will shed some light on what just happened there?
Well, while I do indeed get the other ending by putting the cassette tape in the box on the fourth floor, and then redoing the boss battle, her second ending adds more questions than answers!
As Hee-Min goes to place the token in the hole next to the door, Sung-A shows up and tells us that we don't need to do that.
While putting the token away, Hee-Min ends up holding in his hands the candy/chocolate? that he was going to give to So-Young.
Noticing this, Sung-A asks if she can have one of them.
Some what reluctant, Hee-Min gives her one of the candies.
As Sung-A eats one of them, she opens the door leading outside and calls Hee-Min over so they can go outside.
And then after the credits, we get another scene.
In this ending, Hee-Min finds that there is no longer a gate in front of the school!
As he tries to find a way around, Sung-A asks him what he's trying to do.
With Hee-Min now clearly trapped in the school, Sung-A simply asks if she can have another one of those candies.
So, those endings were pretty interesting, weren't they!?
With how many times Sung-A seemed to bad mouth So-Young, you have to wonder what her perspective must be like?
Seeing as Sung-A is clearly the one who was up to something, it'll be interesting to see what kind of person So-Young is in comparison!
So the next playthrough starting in the next part shall be where I finally go through So-Young's route/path!
How will that play out? Well, I would say, "Find out in the next part!" but the start of the game is always the same!
But even with that said, find out how the start of the next playthrough goes in the next part!
