Hey everyone!

Welcome back to Basic Level Gaming! Man, a lot has happened since the last video. Not related to this video, one of the things that happened is we got the Season 2 Keystone Master achievement! This took a lot of time and work, and a lot of help from friends. Basically, in order to get it I had to complete a timed 15 (or an untimed 16 that was close) mythic + in each of the shadowlands' dungeons. As if that wasn't enough, you have to do it on Tyranical week, and Fortified week. This will end up netting you 2000+ mythic+ rating, which is what it takes. So now that that is done, what is next?

Well first, we are still working to get the Ahead of The Curve achievement by killing Sylvanas. That is slowly moving forward, though we are feeling the pressure of running out of time. The other thing I've been up to brings me back to today's video!

I wanted to give a tanking class a try for a few reasons, but mostly because it is hard to find a tank when you need it as a DPS. Being used to a hybrid class like druid, naturally Paladin was high on my list of options. It also helps that a Protection Paladin is pretty high in the tier list this expansion. So here goes nothing!

I found I really liked the tank role. As I was leveling, I was evening pugging dungeons. I hate pugs, but overall, it was a great experience. As I neared 60, I started to set my sights on some end game content. Well fast forward about two weeks, and here we are. This is the first attempt at tanking a Normal Sanctum of Domination Raid. In all honesty, it went really well. To be fair, we did have some high geared players who were tagging along, so I am sure that made it easier.

The first thing you might notice is that it appears we started on The Nine. That is not the case, the reality of the situation is I was so focused on being ready to tank I forgot to hit record. You will see a similar situation after we took a break and I forgot to unpause the video. We ended up beating all through Guardian of the First Ones, except we went there instead of fatescribe first. That means there were only 3 bosses we didn't finish off, and I'm pretty satisfied with that.

We will have more tanking content coming in the future, and hopefully a Sylvanas kill as well!
